What is Yoga? 
Yoga means union but it also means a healthy body, a balanced mind, and a joyful and harmonious existence. 

How much should I practice?
We suggest new students complete at least 10 classes your first 30 days. The results will amaze you! There is a saying in Yoga: Practice 2-4 times a week to change your body, 5 or more times a week to change your life. Consistency is key and you will likely find that after a while, your desire to practice expands naturally and you will find yourself doing more and more. 

What do I need to begin?
You will need a pair leggings or shorts, and a shirt that's not too baggy. No special footgear is required because you will be barefoot. Some people like to bring a towel to class.  You will also need a mat specifically designed for yoga, 3mm-5mm thick.  If you do not have a mat, you can rent one in the studio.  You can also buy a mat in the studio.  All other equipment will be provided by the studio.
