Ann Cox

Drawing on her own experience of how yoga created meaningful friendships and a strong community for herself, Ann ensures each student leaves her class feeling included, accomplished, and more than satisfied with their time at Live Oak Yoga. Her goals as a teacher are to give students' bodies a challenge and their minds a sense of calm. As an advanced practitioner of Ashtanga yoga, she incorporates many Ashtanga elements into a traditional vinyasa flow. She also enjoys including strengthening exercises to advance an individual's overall practice—after backbends, get ready for a little Pilates. At the end of a practice, Ann relaxes her students' mind, body, and soul with a thorough savasana. In addition to yoga, she enjoys painting, being outdoors, and spending time with friends.


Ann Cox instructs the following:
  • Vinyasa Flow
  • Traditional Vinyasa Flow class for all levels. The pace is moderate and will challenge you physically with an emphasis on alignment and proper form.
